June 2003 - February 2004 [Part 1]
Summaries Morning Lunchtime
ITV National News
From Monday June 23 2003, ITV 1 news bulletins looked slightly different.

Opening title sequence graphics changed from blue and red to blue and yellow, the ITV corporate colours. Programme title straps were also introduced for the headline sequence.

The bongs within the headline bed were now much more prominent than before and were placed at intervals appropriate to the script rather than at fixed points.

The red element within the studio set backdrop was removed.

The aston design was also altered.
