ITV National News
From Monday June 23 2003, ITV 1 news bulletins looked slightly different.
• Opening title sequence graphics changed from blue and red to blue and yellow, the ITV corporate colours. Programme title straps were also introduced for the headline sequence.
• The bongs within the headline bed were now much more prominent than before and were placed at intervals appropriate to the script rather than at fixed points.
• The red element within the studio set backdrop was removed.
• The aston design was also altered.
